Smalls, new ideas, still evolving

It would be great if I just created large vessels for I really love making them but the demand for them is not at the level necessary for me to be doing that so I have been playing around with other designs,a few samples seen above. As it turns out working small is fun and my clay supply lasts a lot longer. I am having trouble deciding exactly what audience I am shooting for but maybe I shouldn't worry so much, just create and trust that eventually things will sell. My work is now selling in 2 galleries, a local store, and I am doing a show in Camden, ME this summer. I excited to report that I also have work that has been accepted in two juried 'Mud' Season shows, not bad for a 'Little Old Lady' well maybe not so little. Hopefully this exposure will generate the attention and sales that allow me to keep me playing in clay. I have to admit though that I have missed carving my stones this winter; so as the temperature rises I look forward to heading out to my summer studio, cleaning away the winter cobwebs and mouse droppings, swinging up the garage door and working on new sculptures, need some smaller pieces in that medium as well.
